Giant Tigers Pounce on Sydney

In celebration of Chinese New Year, the year of the tiger, a series of GIANT, illuminated origami tigers have taken over the centre of Sydney.

These sculputers designed by LAVA were made raise awareness for the tiger as and endangered species.

These giant tigers will be scattered around Customs house and City of Sydney Libary until March 14th.

Contemporary artist Spencer Turnick is creating a series of installations titled: 'The Base' in Sydney March 1st.

As a part of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Turnick will create an artpiece on the steps of the Opera House using thousands of naked Aussies.
