Little Design Horse (North Perth) has created a new look for our everyday lamps with 'Billion Dollar View Lamps.' These lamps shades feature sites like the Big Ben, Gol Sydney Harbour Bridge, Shakespeare's birth place, and the Perth Bell just to name a few.

Designer Jane says these lamp shades are to encourage people to upcycle forgotten lamp bases sitting in garages all over the land.

Alice in Wonderland released 4^th march is the new and modern sequel to the beloved Disney film of everyone’s childhood. I went with high expectations and pre-booked tickets facing the screen armed with popcorn. I was a little disappointed with the ending (which I won’t spoil for those who haven’t seen it yet) but overall it was a great film and i would defiantly recommend it to all those sitting on the fence. I loved the costumes and the computer graphics were a step up, as all new movies seem to be these days. Now I just need to see it in 3D!

Giant Tigers Pounce on Sydney

In celebration of Chinese New Year, the year of the tiger, a series of GIANT, illuminated origami tigers have taken over the centre of Sydney.

These sculputers designed by LAVA were made raise awareness for the tiger as and endangered species.

These giant tigers will be scattered around Customs house and City of Sydney Libary until March 14th.

I went to the Becks Bar at The Sydney Festival last night to watch Grizzly Bear and The Middle east play.

There were strings and ropes of different rumours as to why The Middle East had cancelled but replacement band Patrick Watson from Montreal definitely filled the expectation gap easily.

They were unreal, I'm still a little exited and am definitely wanting more.
